ABOUT

I am a composer working across film, art and commercial contexts. My work focuses on structure, narrative clarity and the role of sound in shaping meaning.

After completing a BMus (Hons) in 2003, I apprenticed under composer and arranger Dan Selsick, contributing to music for television and brand campaigns while developing a grounding in orchestration and studio craft.

Since then, I have composed for leading South African and international brands including Toyota, McDonalds and Mercedes-AMG, as well as collaborating with a range of contemporary artists such as Kwesta, Jeremy Loops and the Soweto Gospel Choir. Alongside my commercial work, I continue to develop independent projects exploring abstraction, symbolism and musical storytelling.

I currently work from my studio in Johannesburg.
